The DHFR Scholarship Application
Requirements for Applicants:
1. Must be a descendant of the Davis-Hodges Family.
2. Complete (type or print) and submit the scholarship application via postal mail or email no later than June 1, 2025.
3. Provide proof of enrollment documentation in a public or private college, university, technical college, degree/certificate program i. e., class schedule, enrollment letter from the institution on letterhead, billing documents, etc. with your application.
If any of the above requirements are not met, the committee will not be able to disburse funds to you.
Davis-Hodges Scholarship Submission Information
Upon submission of the scholarship application, all required documents must be legible, completed, and submitted by the due date in order for the verification process to begin. Once the applications are received they are subject to review and verification of proof of enrollment information will be conducted. Notification will be provided to scholarship award recipients at the family reunion banquet. If the scholarship recipient is not present at the banquet, he/she will be notified via email of his/her award and an immediate family member will receive the certificate and/or award letter on his/her behalf.
Be sure to submit your complete application with the required documents by the deadline of June 1, 2025. Applications will not be accepted at the family reunion. There will be NO exceptions.
