The Davis Hodges Scholarship Fund

History

In 1992, Edward and Mattie Hodges along with the Atlanta Host Committee desired to encourage and motivate our young family members to strive for excellence in education. As a result of their tenacious effort, the DHFR Scholarship was created. The goal of the DHFR Scholarship was to assist family members by defraying the cost of school related expenses and to reduce the financial burden to students and their immediate family. Since inception, this scholarship has assisted over 50 family members obtain certifications, diplomas and degrees from institutions of higher learning. We are delighted to provide this same opportunity for you.

Overview

The DHFR Scholarship provides family members with financial assistance who are pursuing degrees, diplomas and certificate programs at public and private colleges, universities, and technical colleges. The scholarship is awarded Davis-Hodges Family members to help defray the cost of tuition, mandatory fees, book purchases and other school-related expenses.
